What Could Be the Problem?
Assuming that you have already checked to see if your Liebherr fridge is turned on, there are several reasons why your fridge could be flashing:
- The fridge is too full making the door appear closed when it is open.
- The temperature in your fridge is too high or too low.
- A malfunction in the sensor which leads to incorrect temperature readings.

Check The Contents of Your Fridge
If your fridge is too full, you may want to consider rearranging the items or taking some items out. Not only does a full fridge restrict the door from closing it also affects the fans inside of your fridge, leading them to overwork.
Check The Temperature Inside Your Fridge
Check the temperature of your fridge and adjust where necessary. The ideal temperature for a food fridge is between 0°C and 5°C. The ideal temperature for a wine fridge depends on the type of wine that you are storing inside, for example:
- Red wine – between 12°C to 18°C
- White wine – between 8°C to 12°C
- Sparkling wine – between 3°C to 7°C
Malfunctioning Sensor
If there is a malfunction with your fridge's sensor you may need to replace the sensor.
You should replace your sensor with a genuine replacement part if you find it is broken. We recommend contacting a professional technician for help at this point.
Damaged Power Outlet
Finally, if you suspect a problem with the wires or power outlet, we recommend contacting the manufacturer. Safety is important and messing around with wires should be left to the professionals!
